About
This TV commercial appears in context as it was originally broadcast in 1963. We begin with a station identification for the ABC show "Channing" which then leads into the Bufferin ad. Then a brief fade-in to the program.
This was back in the days when an ad break was only 60 seconds. Time for one commercial or two short ones. A one-hour program was 55 minutes with 5 minutes of ads. Today you get 45 minutes of show and 15 minutes of ads. That's progress.
