About
36-minute reel that includes trip highlights from probably two trips, starting in the arid interior West, a few stops on the Pacific coast, then picking up again in Arkansas and moving east to Washington DC and New York. Highlights include Petrified Forest, Bryce Canyon, street scenes in Boulder, CO, the Las Vegas strip at night, perspectives on San Quentin prison, and east coast colonial era historical sites, costumed soldiers in British Revolutionary War era garb, and Empire State Building platform views of Manhattan. Late 1950s to early 1960s. Note that a Native American woman crafting pottery is briefly shown.
