About
The Delphic Oracle, silent French short directed by George Méliès in 1903. A robber tries to steal a treasure in the temple of Delphi, but a priest magically appears and makes him give the treasure back, then turns him into a donkey-headed man. Though the scene is supposed to be located at Delphi, the setting evokes ancient Egypt rather than ancient Greece.
