"La Revolución de Mayo" de Mario Gallo, realizada con motivo del centenario en 1909. Mario Gallo fue el primer realizador de ficción en la Argentina y su primera película fue El fusilamiento de Dorrego, en 1909. Tras esta producción siguieron una serie de trabajos de carácter histórico como La Revolución de Mayo (1909), primer filme de ficción con actores profesionales estrenado en 1910, y La Batalla de Maipú (1912)
