About
Ellie never smoked, but in her midthirties she developed asthma from breathing other people's smoke. She worked in bars that served LGBT communities and noticed a lot of smokers. Ellie loved her work but had to quit her job to protect her health. In this video from CDC's Tips From Former Smokers campaign, Ellie talks about smoking and how people define their personal identity.
