About

In 2017, President Trump signed Space Policy Directive-1, setting NASA on a new path and calling for an innovative, sustainable exploration program built with commercial and international partners. That vision became Artemis—a campaign to return humans to the Moon, unlock new scientific and economic opportunities, and prepare for the first crewed missions to Mars. Under Artemis, astronauts will embark on increasingly challenging lunar missions, building the foundation for humanity’s next giant leap across the solar system.
