Korean MOIS visits DPAA Mission 25-4PG excavation site (985585)

The Republic of Korea Ministry of Interior and Safety (MOIS) sent personnel to visit the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency 25-4PG site to observe the excavation process from an anthropological perspective on behalf of the MOIS, Papua New Guinea, Aug. 26, 2025. The goal of their visit was to contribute to the establishment of a foundational system that will enable MOIS personnel to successfully recover the remains of Korean forced laborers in this region from previous conflicts.
