The Parkland School District elementary instrumental music program commissioned composer Brian Balmages to write a work for its 5th grade combined band & string orchestra - a total of 370 musicians - to perform as the finale for their May 2, 2012 concert at Parkland High School. This is the video introduction created for the concert.
