About
CAB1: (Nov. 16, 2022) – On Nov. 16, 2022, the Space Launch System lifted off from Kennedy Space Center in Florida. Just after three minutes into the flight, the launch abort system was jettisoned. During Artemis I, the system was inert except to conduct this separation, but on future missions, will pull the crew to safety if there were an issue with the rocket.
