The Phantom of the Opera, American silent film directed by Rupert Julian.

1996 restoration produced by Photoplay Productions. This restoration is based primarily on a 35mm print preserved at the George Eastman Museum film archive and uses a snippet from a 16mm print for a damaged scene. The "Bal Masqué" color scene is sourced from a surviving two-color Technicolor clip whereas two missing color scenes which survive only in black-and-white are recreated using computer colorization.
