Een Engels gezelschap van marine ingenieurs (Naval Architects ?) olv Sir Archibald Dewy brengt, vergezeld van hun echtgenotes, een bezoek aan Vlissingen. Zij bezichtigen de stad en een dorp in de omgeving, maken een vaartocht door de haven en rijden per tram door de straten van Vlissingen.
