DESCRIPTION: Kai ist 25 und am Ende. Nach einem schweren Arbeitsunfall findet er keinen Job, seine Wohnung ist kaum mehr als ein Verschlag, er selbst benebelt sich das Hirn mit Alkohol und Drogen, mit denen ihn sein türkischer Freund Shane großzügig versorgt. Bei dessen kriminellen Brüdern steht er tief in der Kreide. Es dauert nicht lang, und sie unterbreiten ihm ein zweifelhaftes Angebot: er kann seine Schulden abarbeiten, wenn er als Drogenkurier für sie in den Ring steigt. Hat er eine Wahl? Immer tiefer gerät Kai in einen Strudel, der ihn abwärts zieht. Und ob ihn die Liebe daraus retten kann, ist mehr als fraglich, denn die junge Frau, der er sich in aller Radikalität verschreibt, ist definitiv nicht das, was sie zu sein scheint.
