I i Tapas The Queen of Hearts, She made some starts, But could n't get away ; And those who laughed, She called upstarts, And thought what she dare n't say. Little Bo Peep, She lost no sleep O’er any high-geared tandem ; She let 'em alone To pedal her home, Then gave 'em a drink and fanned ‘em. Wood Levette Wilson. ; wee Miss MUFFET Concluded to bluff it, So in bloomers she left her abode ; Along came a flyer, And then she went higher For wings, as she no longer rode. To market, to market, And dodge a road hog; In the ditch, over ruts, Jog-ety-jog. Little Jack Scorcher Sat on a porch a- Swearing at his punctured tire; Then he put in a plug Snug 's a bug in a rug, And once more the road set on fire. There was a man in our town, And he was wondrous wise; He bought himself a Just-as-good, And thought he had a prize. When from the wreck he cleared himself, With all his might and main He swore and swore, but could n't get His money back again. COPYRIGHT 1696 BY KEPPLER & SCHWARZMANN
