Shock! (Pressbook) [1957] (Screen Gems)
Shock! (Pressbook) [1957] (Screen Gems). Shock! was a package of 52 Universal Studios mystery and horror films which had been assembled by Screen Gems in 1957 for television syndication, under a distribution agreement with Universal. The package included such classic horror films as Dracula (1931), Frankenstein (1931), The Mummy (1932), The Invisible Man (1933), and The Wolf Man (1941). To promote Shock! , Screen Gems issued this pressbook which contained suggestions for local TV stations on ways to promote the package, synopses and news releases for each movie, and biographies of some of the cast members in the films.
