All of the stories published in this initial outing were reprints which had previously appeared in various magazines in the 1930s and 1940s. Note: This is a scan of a rare copy of the magazine with a trial or proof version of the cover which bears a price of 20 cents. Before the full press run of 90,000 copies began, the decision was made to change the price of the magazine to 25 cents - and the price was changed on the final version of the cover. Few copies of the issue with the 20 cent cover price are known to exist.
