The Journal Of Science-Fiction was a science fiction fanzine which lasted for four issues from 1951 to 1953. It was published in Chicago by Charles Freudenthal, and edited by Freudenthal and Edward Wood (of no relation to the infamous movie director, as far as I know). Lester Fried was co-editor of the magazine's first issue. This issue contains an issue-by-issue listing of the contents of all of the science fiction, fantasy, and horror magazines which were published in 1951. It's amazing how many different titles (thirty!) were being published that year.
