WILOSOPHY: Kevin Mitchell - Jebediah, Bob Evans and Trying Not To Be A Dick

21 Oct 2026 · 1 h 33 min · S4 E132

In this episode of Wilosophy, Wil sits down with Australian musician Kevin Mitchell, frontman of Jebediah and solo artist behind Bob Evans.

Kevin discusses fatherhood, growing through having your "whole identity" being a muso and returning to study as an adult.

Plus we get into regret, hoping songs find a 2nd life for new audiences, and Jebediah's relationship as a band now versus when they first were cutting their teeth and toughening up their finger callouses in Perth in the 90s.

And if all that Aussie music nostalgia is hitting just right, make sure to grab tickets to Kevin's 20 year anniversary of Suburban Songbook tour!
