Episode Was This Really Necessary? Turning Suffering Into Endurance, Character, and Hope (S15E3)
In this episode, I share my origin story to explore why I’ve so often asked God, “Was this really necessary?”
It will help you move from reactive “brain management mode” into reflective “self brain surgeon mode” through metacognition and tools like naming feelings and the thought biopsy.
I share how all the things I've been through- church abuse, divorce, war, PTSD, and child loss- led me often to question God. Then, you'll see how one dramatic perspective shift changed everything for me, and how it can change everything for you as well.
This one is raw, vulnerable, and will help you get after the hard and holy work of learning to trust God even in the hardest moments of your life.
