The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake is a stunning technical showcase from Nintendo, delivering a jaw-dropping Hyrule that is not only incredibly detailed, but thoughtfully lit to maximise both immersion and storytelling. Changes to traversal, combat and level layouts are subtle but do result in a game that feels more comfortable to play, without sanding back any of the things that made the original such a masterpiece. Ocarina was always perfect and remains so all these years later, but it seems as though Nintendo has found a few weeks to make it that little bit more perfect.
