דווקא השמאל צריך להתנגד לחוק הנאשם. יש זכויות לנאשמים, יש זכויות אזרח, אלו הם ערכים לא פחות חשובים מ״רק לא ביבי״. חוק הנאשם הוא לא דמוקרטי, הוא מעניק כוח בלתי סביר ליועץ המשפטי לממשלה, הוא תוקע אצבע בעין לציבור שלם של אנשים שהצביע למנהיג, שגם אם הוא נאשם, הוא עדיין נבחר.
