相撲部屋の食事といえば「ちゃんこ鍋」。ベテラン力士が「ちゃんこ長」を務め、その部屋の食事をとり仕切るといいます。コロナ前には記者もご相伴に預かることがありましたが、あるルールがあったそうです。ちゃんこにまつわる裏話をスポーツ部の竹園隆浩記者に聞きました。
