What if the persistent trails across our skies are neither secret spraying nor ‘just contrails’? In this interview, Len Duggan, who has spent a decade researching the subject, sets out a case built on published science studies and refinery documentation.
Duggan argues that since around 1995, refineries have increasingly made jet fuel from heavy residue through coking and cracking processes, carrying more contaminants into the fuel. The result, he says, is exhaust full of tiny metallic, sulphur-coated particles that are highly hygroscopic, which lets trails form and persist at much lower humidity than before. In his view, chemtrails are not a separate phenomenon but enhanced contrails.
He also explains several images that circulate widely as evidence of spraying: ballast tanks used in flight testing, aerodynamic wing trails, fuel dumps, and survey aircraft on Flightradar24. He describes being blocked by prominent figures in the chemtrail movement for challenging their claims. Debunkers, he says, refuse to engage on particle hygroscopicity.
The conversation also covers geoengineering, cloud seeding and reduced sunlight. It closes on why simple flight-path changes that could cut trail formation have not been adopted, and what that might mean for the climate narrative.
