Plus, after months of war, weeks of a shaky truce, and 40-odd unfulfilled presidential claims that a deal to end the conflict in Iran is near, both the White House and Tehran now appear optimistic about what comes next. Both sides are now indicating they are close to reaching some kind of memorandum of understanding ahead of further negotiations to settle the conflict for good.
