Episode ALAN QUINLAN & ANDY DUNNE | A tribute to Anthony ‘Axel’ Foley | THE BANK OF IRELAND ROADSHOW SERIES
In the fourth and final Bank Of Ireland Rugby Roadshow, Will O’Callahan was joined on stage at Páirc Uí Chaoimh in Cork by Andy Dunne, and Munster legend Alan Quinlan.
This was a special show, as it marked exactly 10 years to the day that the heartbeat of Munster, Anthony ‘Axel’ Foley passed away. There was no one better to honour the occasion than Quinny, who spent years as Axel’s teammate, grew up with him at Shannon RFC, and called him a friend long after they both retired from playing.
While this was our final Roadshow on the new season, we will be looking ahead to the Six Nations early next year! If you don’t want to miss that, keep an eye on our social channels and our events page for more information: http://offtheball.com/events
