Martin describes his “forever place,” how he and Philippa bought 100+ acres for a pony field that became a full farming venture with Pol Dorset sheep, and building a 3.5km perimeter track that transformed life for riding and dog walking. He reflects on childhood pets, boarding school responsibilities with animals, moving to Dorset with their first cocker spaniel, and the chaotic early months with littermate terriers that required intensive training.
