Episode Why Do I Feel Cold Right After a Hot Shower? for Kids
You just stood in hot shower water, and your whole body felt warm.
But the second you turn it off, suddenly you feel cold.
Sometimes you even shiver, even though the water was hot a moment ago.
The air didn’t suddenly turn freezing, so what changed?
There’s still water on your skin, even if you can’t see it.
And as that water disappears into the air, something surprising happens.
It quietly pulls heat away from your body.
The same thing happens when sweat cools you down after running.
And once you notice it, you’ll understand why stepping out of water can make you feel cold so fast.
Shows are listed from Apple Podcasts' charts and directory, and Podcast Index where it is used. Every show and episode belongs to its publisher and plays from the publisher's own feed; this site hosts none of them. Explicit shows are for adult profiles only, and children’s profiles hear only children’s shows. More about this list.
