Nel 1969 Neiman Marcus mise in vendita un computer da cucina da 10.600 dollari, una follia per l'epoca. Serviva a organizzare ricette, menu e bilanci familiari, aveva sedici interruttori, nessuno schermo e, soprattutto, richiedeva due settimane di corso per imparare a preparare… la cena. Ne vendettero zero. Quel fallimento ci pone davanti a una domanda attualissima: quando immaginiamo il futuro della tecnologia, quanto conta l’idea che abbiamo delle persone che dovranno usarla?
