Episode Fake Player Real Damage--September Bonus A
On this episode of The Pretty Peculiar People Puzzle Podcast, hosts Pudgee Tha Phat Bastard and EKKO SEVEN examine the disturbing allegations surrounding a man accused of posing as a San Francisco 49ers player and using romance, status, fabricated investment opportunities, and technology to deceive numerous women.
Moving beyond the viral jokes and sensational headlines, the hosts explore the real emotional and financial damage that deception can cause. They discuss how scammers manufacture credibility, exploit the desire for love and security, and tell victims exactly what they want—and need—to hear.
The conversation also investigates pathological lying, also known as pseudologia fantastica, and its possible connections to grandiosity, manipulation, compulsive behavior, and certain personality disorders. With humor, honesty, and an important reminder that criminal charges are allegations until proven in court, Pudgee and EKKO SEVEN ask a deeper question: When someone creates an entire life out of lies, who are they trying to fool—and who are they trying to escape?
This is an educational discussion, not a clinical diagnosis. #eKKOSEVEN #PUDGEE #t$p #tHEPRETTYPECULIARPEOPLEPUZZLE
