In this video, I walk through a real coaching call with a guy we'll call Bob — recently divorced, two daughters, and a situation that got stranger the longer we talked. By the end, I had to stop and ask him the question every divorced dad eventually has to ask himself: is this normal stress... or something I need to take seriously?
I break down why the woman you divorce is never the woman you married, how a decade of "tests" slowly builds toward a breaking point, why fear turns otherwise rational women into people who seem unrecognizable, and — most importantly — how to know when erratic behavior crosses the line from "she's having a hard time" into "my kids might not be safe."
This is a cautionary tale for every man currently in or approaching a divorce, especially if there are small children involved. Document everything. Trust your gut. And don't assume someone else will protect your kids if you won't.
