Sen Elias doesn't sugarcoat anything. From breaking down the difference between Hoodoo and witchcraft, to describing what possession actually looks like in person, this episode pulls back the curtain on a world most people only think they understand.
Elias traces his Hoodoo lineage, explains why New Orleans is a living spirit that 'needs to eat,' and lays out the five signs you might be cursed. He also gets into the ethics of placing curses, the chilling reality of exorcisms, and why your ancestors outrank everything when you're in danger. The episode closes with a gut-punch: the cost of this path is normality. Ignorance is bliss, and he can't go back.
