Episode 'Him,' 'The Long Walk' Treadmill Experience And What's Giving Us Good Vibes | SEATED Podcast | Ep. 2
Hosts Ray and Tre'vell dive deep into their review of the new Jordan Peele-produced Monkeypaw Productions film, HIM.
Directed by Justin Tipping and starring Marlon Wayans and Tyriq Withers, HIM is a horror-thriller that tackles themes of sports, race, and the price of success. They discuss the film's stylish direction, the lead performances, the controversial ending, and whether it delivers enough substance to match its style. Is it a "Seated," "Stream It," or a "Skip It?" Listen in for their verdict!
Ray shares his experience participating in Lionsgate's THE LONG WALK treadmill movie screening challenge. They discuss Taylor Swift's latest partnership with AMC Theaters for an album release event, and what this direct-to-theater model means for moviegoing and hopes for a Beyoncé theatrical release.
Plus, they introduce the Black Cinema Games as they test their knowledge of iconic Black films like and share their Good Vibes Only recommendations.
