This week, Kaelyn is joined by Ericka Bozeman of Boze vs. the World to discuss the case of Karlie Gusé. Before dawn on October 13th, 2018, 16-year-old Karlie walked out of her father's house in Chalfant, California, leaving her phone behind. The night before, something had gone wrong after Karlie smoked marijuana at a friend's house. She came home terrified, pale, convinced something was going to kill her. This episode Kaelyn and Boze follow the clues: an eight-minute recording her stepmother made that night, an account of the next morning that changed in the telling, and a search that in included dogs, helicopters and weeks of volunteers, but still found nothing at all. Eight years on, the case is still open, and there's no good answers about what happened to Karlie Gusé.
