Unresolved pain has a way of hanging around longer than we expect. We can move on with life, stay busy, laugh, work, and even build something new, but certain memories can still bring the hurt right back. In this episode, we look at Peter’s denial of Jesus and the way Jesus later restored him.

Peter couldn’t undo what he had done, and neither can we go back and rewrite our past. But with God’s help, we can forgive, repent where needed, get wise counsel, and stop letting an old wound keep running our present life. We may always remember what happened, but that doesn’t mean it has to keep owning us.

These are some of the topics that we talk about in this episode:

- Forgiveness can release the pain without erasing the memory.

- What happened to you does not have to become who you are.

- God can help you move forward, even when the past still hurts.

And maybe that’s the main thing to remember: you don’t have to pretend the pain never happened, but you also don’t have to keep living there. With God’s help, you can bring the hurt, the regret, and the anger to Him and start moving forward from where you are now

Share this episode with someone who may need a reminder that they’re not alone. Let’s inspire hope and show that with God’s grace, even the most broken seasons can lead to a beautiful new beginning.
