Cathelijne en Paul duiken in Diego Velázquez’ Las Meninas (1656) – een ogenschijnlijk braaf familieportret dat langzaam verandert in een spiegelpaleis, een toneelstuk op doek, een selfie avant la lettre — met een hofschilder die zichzelf zó centraal in beeld zet, dat je je afvraagt wie hier nou eigenlijk de hoofdrol speelt.
