Episode #434 - Kyle Thompson // Peter Muhlenberg - A Time to Fight
We tell the story of a Revolutionary War pastor who steps from pulpit to battlefield and use it to ask what real readiness looks like for Christian men. We land in Nehemiah 4, where God’s people build and defend at the same time, and we challenge you to notice which “hand” you have let go. • the sword of the Spirit as a real weapon for spiritual warfare • John Peter Gabriel Muhlenberg’s farewell sermon and the moment that sparked 300 men to join the fight • separating inspiring legend from documented history around the Black Robed Regiment • Nehemiah 4 and the picture of building with one hand while holding a weapon with the other • the modern temptation to choose all work or all fight instead of faithful readiness for both Before you go, if you want to help equip other men for the fight, share this podcast around and leave us a five star rating and review.
