Katty ha 16 anni ed è una ragazza piena di interessi, in primis la politica. Ed è la politica che la avvicina a Francesco Morini, coetaneo con cui inizia a frequentarsi. Insieme partecipano a quella che verrà definita la "festa maledetta": è il 21 gennaio 1984.
