كان نفس اللحن يعزف في تلك الليلة .. في بيتنا كان اللحن يعزف من المذياع، وكان أبي غاضبًا لكن أمي لم تخفض صوت المذياع، كنت أنا غارقًا في الحب.. كنت أتنفس بصعوبة تحت محيط من الحب عزلني عن العالم الخارجي، فلم أعد أرى أو أسمع أو أشم.
كان اسمها سديم.. سديم اسم من أجمل الأسماء التي سمعتها، ولم أسمعه بعد ذلك سوى مرة أو مرتين برغم أنني في الأربعين من عمري، سديم.. الفتاة الشاحبة الرقيقة.. الفتاة التي كنت أقابلها في المقابر، وألعب معها ساعات متواصلة، سديم ذات الأطراف الباردة.. سديم ذات العينين الشفافتين، منذ البداية كنت أعرف أنها ميتة، وأن هذا لا يمكن أن يكون حقيقيًا.. ولو كان حقيقيًا فلا مستقبل له.. كنت ناضجًا وكنت أفهم كل شيء، لكن قلبي ظل أخرق غبيًا يأبى أن يستجيب لأوامري.
