Episode 214 - Premier League Opening Weekend Overreactions

24 Aug 2026 · 32 min

Ted joins with Neel this week for some early overreactions to Premier League opening weekend. Brentford dismantle Tottenham and expose real problems in De Zerby's build-up play, Aston Villa's summer sales catch up to them in a 4-0 defeat at Brighton, and Manchester United open with a performance that raises real questions about the season ahead. Plus: the Manchester City to Tottenham rumors involving Savinho and Marmoush, a Carlos Baleba update, and a very unlikely Nottingham Forest bid.
