On this Friday episode of Nothing Major, the guys welcome TNT host Adam Lefkoe to the pod!
Lefkoe pulls back the curtain on landing the Roland-Garros desk job. He talks about cramming for tennis coverage through podcasts and Tennis Channel, then learning on the fly alongside legends like Brian Anderson, Jim Courier, and Lindsay Davenport.
Lefkoe also explains how he builds instant rapport with players, the moments that make him most nervous on air, and an uncomfortable interview exchange when Andre Agassi asked Andrey Medvedev about the war in Ukraine. Later, he reveals which guests he’d love to bring back — including Novak Djokovic, Andrey Medvedev, and Coco Gauff — before the group previews major Roland-Garros storylines like Novak’s chase for No. 25 and whether Jannik Sinner can survive deep five-set battles. They wrap things up with listener-style questions, sponsorship talk, and a hilarious travel pet peeves draft centered on airport and plane etiquette.
