Episode Armchair Expert's Monica Padman on Surprise Success & Finding Her Voice
This week, we’re joined by Monica Padman, the co-host and producer of the wildly successful Armchair Expert podcast. Her career story is nothing short of inspiring as she’s gone from aspiring actress and babysitter to Dax Shepard (her Armchair Expert co-host) and Kristen Bell’s children to the all-around creative force behind the whole umbrella of Armchair Expert shows. She joined us on the heels of a massive deal announcement with Amazon and Wondery, so we get into that, too. Tune in to hear more of Monica’s story, including:
• landing her first acting gigs and moving to Los Angeles. • going from babysitter to co-host of one of the biggest podcasts in the world. • what being an assistant and a producer have in common. • finding her voice and learning to let go of control. • Plus, Sali and Monica play a game of “Would You Rather?”!

Shows are listed from Apple Podcasts' charts and directory, and Podcast Index where it is used. Every show and episode belongs to its publisher and plays from the publisher's own feed; this site hosts none of them. Explicit shows are for adult profiles only, and children’s profiles hear only children’s shows. More about this list.
