Episode The NZ business recognised by TIME Magazine
TIME magazine recently released its list of the 300 best inventions for 2026 and two New Zealand companies have made the cut. Palmerston North Agritech company BioLumic and Leaft - a Canterbury based food company Leift - set up by Synlait Milk founder John Penno and his wife Maury Leyland-Penno - developed a process for extracting protein from Lucerne leaves. Something that previously involved a cow or maybe a sheep. TIME described their work as "The worlds most abundant protein, in a smoothie". Maury chats to Jesse. Shows are listed from Apple Podcasts' charts and directory, and Podcast Index where it is used. Every show and episode belongs to its publisher and plays from the publisher's own feed; this site hosts none of them. Explicit shows are for adult profiles only, and children’s profiles hear only children’s shows. More about this list.
