Episode CANADIANS TELL HOEKSTRA GET THE HELL OUT! TEAM CANADA ON TRADE, POILIEVRE TAKES POT SHOTS
As President Trump pushes Canada to strike a new trade deal to avoid 50% tariffs, Canadians are stepping up by signing a crucial petition demanding the removal of US Ambassador Pete Hoekstra. This initiative is a powerful statement against outside interference in our democracy and a strong reminder of the importance of sovereignty.
Meanwhile, Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre takes pot shots against Prime Minister Mark Carney instead of showing solidarity with Team Canada and Alberta Premier Danielle Smith talks of a new binding referendum for Alberta to separate!
The world order teeters on the brink of collapse due to the illegal actions taken by Trump and Netanyahu in their war against Iran. Meanwhile, we face an escalating economic crisis and an alarming climate emergency—our forests are burning, and our towns are flooding. This is not the time for complacency.
In a thought-provoking conversation, Elizabeth May, Co-Leader of the Green Party of Canada, shares her insights with host Laura Babcock on how we can rise to these challenges. The fight for democracy and climate action is intertwined, and as Canadians, we have the opportunity to lead by example.
Now is the time to make your voice heard. Share, comment, and most importantly, **sign the petition**. Together, we can stand firm against injustice, advocate for our environment, and pave the way for a brighter, sustainable future. Let's reclaim our agency—our democracy depends on it!
