#81 - Ben Duxson - Farmers Fight Back Against the Green Land Grab

25 Feb 2026 · 1 h 02 min · Episode 111

🎙 In This Episode of the 2 Worlds Collide Podcast, I sit down with Ben Duxson, a farmer from rural Victoria, for a raw, unfiltered conversation on land, livelihoods, and the growing conflict between government policy and the people who feed the country.

Ben is part of Farmers Fightback, a grassroots organisation pushing back against government policies that farmers say are threatening productive farmland in the name of the green energy agenda.

We unpack what’s happening on the ground — land acquisition pressures, renewable energy projects being forced into rural communities, and why farmers feel ignored, overridden, and sacrificed for political targets made far away from the paddock.

We also talk about the bigger picture: food security, rising costs, generational farming families under threat, and what happens when ideology replaces common sense.

This isn’t activism theatre. It isn’t political spin.

It’s a direct conversation with someone living the consequences of decisions made in city offices — and why farmers across Australia are saying enough is enough.
