Episode (Part 2) Interview with Joe Spector, Retired Firefighter, Speaker, Podcast Host and Author (Ep. 20)

0:00 40:53

Joe Spector is a retired firefighter and host of “The Grit, Growth & Gratitude Podcast.” Joe became a podcaster, author, and meditation/emotional fitness teacher after a very close call with suicide and a subsequent hard-fought transformation to radical wellness, unshakable happiness, and indestructible resiliency.

He’s the creator of Prepare, Prevent & Protect: a first of its kind comprehensive suicide, PTSD and addiction prevention training program designed specifically for first responders by a first responder.

His mission is to:

-Teach how mental & emotional fitness is just like physical fitness and equally important.

-Normalize and destigmatize the dialogue surrounding mental health struggles.

-Authentically share his own experiences and offer the guidance, tools, and resources needed to: maximize your happiness when times are good, overcome any obstacle when times are tough, and crush your goals like a total boss.
