Episode A Niece's Determination, Petitioning for Justice
In this episode of Ireland Crimes and Mysteries, host Nules revisits the poignant story of Imelda Keenan, who vanished in Waterford on January 3, 1994, at the age of 22. Joined by Imelda's niece, Gina Kerry, the episode explores Gina's relentless quest for answers about her aunt's disappearance. Gina shares insights into Imelda's life, her character, and the family's ongoing struggle with the investigation. Despite the passage of nearly three decades, Gina remains determined to uncover the truth, advocating for the case to be upgraded to a murder inquiry. The episode highlights the family's efforts, including a petition to garner government attention, and underscores the emotional toll of the unresolved case. Listeners are encouraged to support the cause by signing the petition and spreading awareness.
