Today's case is on Marianne Bachmeier, who shocked the world in 1981 by shooting her daughter's murderer in a German courtroom. Was she justified in her act of revenge, or was she not the heroic vigilante many believed her to be? This case sparked a national debate on justice and the lengths a mother will go to for her child.
Trigger Warning: domestic violence, child-abuse, racism specifically related to the Nazi party, suicide, rape
