EMTEE | ON WORKING ON HIS MARRIAGE; LOSING SK; ROCK-BOTTOM; ENDURING DEATH; LESSONS; AMBITIOUZ

19 Dec 2025 · 47 min · Episode 172

Rapper Emtee sits down with DJ Fresh on WAW! What a Week for one of his most open conversations yet.

From the meteoric rise that changed South African hip-hop forever, to the personal battles behind the scenes, Emtee speaks candidly about fame, pressure, creativity, fatherhood, mental health, and what it really takes to survive the music industry without losing yourself.

This is not a promo run. It’s a real conversation about legacy, lessons, and life after the headlines.

Whether you’ve been rocking with Emtee since the early days or you’re curious about the man behind the music, this episode delivers honesty, vulnerability, and perspective — the WAW way.
