Episode EP 80: "There's A Mushroom For That": 5 Mushrooms for 5 Common Pet Problems with Dr. Rob Silver
Dr. Rob Silver, a pioneer in holistic veterinary medicine, discusses the benefits of mushroom therapy for pets. He highlights the rise in interest due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the increased focus on pet health. Dr. Rob also emphasizes the importance of using authentic mushrooms, not mycelium grown on grain, for better potency. He details the benefits of specific mushrooms: Turkey Tail for immune support, Lion's Mane for cognitive function, Cordyceps for kidney and lung health, and Golden Oyster for mitochondrial function. Learn the dosage guidelines, starting with low amounts to avoid digestive issues, and the potential for mushrooms to enhance chemotherapy effectiveness in cancer treatment. So much great info!
