Le grandi opere dividono da sempre l'opinione pubblica, ma dovrebbero essere giudicate soprattutto sulla base di analisi tecniche e studi costi-benefici, non di appartenenze politiche o ideologiche. La Torino-Lione, o TAV, è l'esempio più emblematico di questo scontro: da oltre trent'anni contrappone sostenitori e oppositori, che ne contestano costi, impatto ambientale e utilità. Eppure le valutazioni più recenti indicano che i benefici economici, ambientali e logistici dell'opera supererebbero i costi. Ma perché? Ne parlo con Roberto Giovannini.
