About 30 years ago the initial clinical trials and studies for the FDA approval of LASIK were done and our podcast guest was there and a key member of that team. Professor Keith Walter MD has been involved in advancing refractive surgery, both corneal and lenticular, for three decades. He is also the surgeon who taught us all that operating room temperature and humidity control is critical for excimer laser refractive accuracy.
